OMG! Did you watch PSG vs Barca match?

By -

Dude, did you see that Champions League game between PSG and Barcelona on Wednesday night? It blew my mind! There were goals flying in from all angles, chances being wasted left, right and center plus enough melodrama to fill a soap opera.

Barcelona came out of the blocks blazing. Their boy Raphinha was on fire scoring two goals I thought it was done for PSG.

But then boom out of nowhere Dembele and Vitinha with 2 quick goals; talk about a twist in the plot!

The second half had me on tenterhooks. Both teams fought tooth and nail for victory. Dembele almost wrapped it up for PSG but the shot strikes the post while Christensen stole the show for Barca with a late header that had everyone breath held. Seriously, it was like my heart would burst!

In the end however it finished 3-2 to Barca meaning it’s still anyone’s tie going into the second leg. This is what I am thinking;
So, what are the takeaways?
Barcelona is officially BACK! These young players are playing out of their minds and this finally looks like Xavi has found the way to make them work together.

PSG really needs to fix their midfield ASAP. They rely too much on individual brilliance so unless they tighten things up, those chinks will begin showing soon.
The second leg is going to be INSANE! Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys is going to be electric, and with this scoreline, anything is possible. Who will progress to the semi-finals? Let me know in the comments below what YOU think! If you missed the match, there are some incredible highlights floating around online [YouTube]. You won't regret checking them out! my socials

Verstappen Takes Charge Max Verstappen, in his Red Bull, managed to be the winner of the 24-lap run in the minisprint race.  Yet, the path ahead wasn't an easy sail for the Dutch mariner either.  It was early on that he struggled with battery regeneration, with him saying he felt "something like the 'flat' battery."  The car engineer of his team made the necessary adjustments and in a short time, he got into the pace and started his way towards the front. Hamilton in Pursuit Lewis Hamilton, who was driving for Mercedes, did not go very far from Max Verstappen's car either.  After Lando Norris gave his teammate Verstappen a wide opening corner, the Dutchman secured the lead.
