Premier League: Title Race Shaken Up by a Wild Weekend!

By -

Tighter than ever, another rollercoaster weekend was served up by the Premier League in which its title race was left. Here is what happened: Man Utd Stumble Again: Manchester United were held to a 2-2 draw by Bournemouth and their bid for Champions League glory took a blow. their leaky defense let them down again. Bruno Fernandes rescued them with a last-minute penalty, but there are still questions for Erik ten Hag’s men.
City Cruise Past Luton: Manchester City made sure they maintained their place at the top of the table with a resounding 5-1 victory against Luton Town. Pep Guardiola rotated his squad even, yet they were dominant as always due to goals from mateo kovačić and an impressive Jérémy Doku. This win sends out quite an undeniable statement to rivals – City is serious!

Newcastle Thrashes Spurs in style : The Toon Army went wild at St. James' Park as Newcastle United demolished Tottenham Hotspur 4-0.Eddie Howe's men were on fire, scoring goals and shutting down Spurs at every turn. This massive win keeps Newcastle firmly in the hunt for European football next season.
What are the big takeaways from this dramatic weekend?

Can Man Utd get their act together? Their inconsistencies are disturbing. They need to finish strongly if they want to play in the Champions League next year.  City's squad depth is insane: even with the backups playing, City demolished Luton. Pep Guardiola must have magic tricks up his sleeve to build such a deep squad. This is good news for their title challenge.  Newcastle United: Contenders surprised? Under Eddie Howe they are playing the most exciting football in the league. Can they maintain this course and challenge the coveted European status?  The Premier League takes a break for the FA Cup semi-finals next weekend, but the race for the top four and the battle for the title is heating up!
